Email * Imagine that you are near the end of your life. In looking back, what would you have needed to do/see/experience in order to consider your life to be one of fulfillment? Of few or no regrets? *
It's easy to sleepwalk our way through life, one day turning into the next turning into the next. How often have you paused and wondered where the time has gone? How often have you lamented how little things have seemed to change, how little you have achieved that you wanted to achieve. In imagining ourselves at the end of our lives, we can look back and see what we want to have achieved by the time we reach our deathbeds, that will make us feel good about having lived our lives for ourselves.
Take time to describe your passions. What are they? Where in your life do they show up? Where don't they? If you were to tell me of a secret passion, one that is almost too exciting to do or do more of, what would it be? *
The things that fire us up are often the clue to how we can pull more energy into our lives that fulfills and uplifts us. What are you passionate about? You might look to your hobbies - past and present. What do you lose yourself in, emerging hours later only to wonder where the time went?
What would you like me to know in order to be the best possible coach for you? What tips could you give me to coach you most effectively? *
We are the experts of ourselves. It is not my job to tell you what is best for you, as only you know that. To that end, what could you tell me about yourself that you think it might help me to know?
What's missing in your life, the presence of which would have your life be more fulfilled? * If you were to do any job other than the one you have now, what would it be? * If I were to interview your family and closest friends, what would they say are your strengths? * If I were to interview your family and closest friends, what would they say are your weaknesses? * Which aspects of your life can you be grateful for and present to? *
Our happiness and emotional wellbeing in any moment can be directly linked to the amount of gratitude that we are consciously present to and allow ourselves to experience. Think of it this way: every single one of us has two pages that we can focus on at any given moment. One page lists everything we have to feel ‘bad’ about. The other lists everything we have to feel ‘good’ about – to feel grateful for. Unhappy people often defend their negativity and complain by saying: “I’m not being negative, I’m just being realistic.” But really, how is it any more realistic for a person to choose to spend most of their time focusing on and complaining to others about everything on their ‘bad’ page, than for you and I to make the choice to invest the majority of our time focusing on and telling others about everything on our “excellent” page? It’s not. Both are equally realistic, but which one you choose to focus on determines your internal quality of life. The more often - and more deeply - you allow yourself to feel authentically grateful for every aspect of your life (even for your challenges and what you can learn and how you will grow from them) the happier, healthier, and more energized you will feel. So, I invite you here to invest just a few minutes listing (and feeling) some of the things that you have to be grateful for.
What do you want to begin improving/transforming over the time we have agreed to work together? *
If you could miraculously wake up tomorrow and any area of your life could be transformed, what would you change? Would you be happier? Healthier? More successful? In better shape? Would you have more energy? Less stress? More money? Which of your problems would be solved? Which of your goals or dreams would you be on your way to achieving? The great news is we can begin to transform any area of your life. Simply answer the question as specifically as possible.
Which fears are holding you back from achieving the success (both personally and professionally) that you’d like to achieve? *
It is often our deepest fears that hold us back from going to the next level of achieving what we want most in life. These are the fears that are are usually below the surface and which we don’t give much conscious thought to. While it’s true that it’s uncomfortable thinking about the things we are afraid if, doing so is absolutely crucial to overcoming them. When we confront our fears, we discover that the fear is almost always of the unknown or the worst possible scenario - which almost never comes true - rather than anything tangible. This is the time to be honest about what fears, insecurities, and/or doubts are holding you back from achieving everything you’ve ever wanted for your life.
What do you need to believe, that you don’t completely believe right now, to be able to create the life you want? *
Belief is the most powerful and creative force in the universe. Every aspect of our lives is formed by our beliefs. For example, if you truly believe that you are capable of achieving success in anything, then you will pursue it until you achieve it knowing with certainty that it is coming to you one way or another. On the other hand, if you doubt your ability to succeed, then you are far more likely to give up at the first sign of an obstacle. If you believe you are deserving of love, you will inevitably attract it. If you don’t, you won’t. If you believe people are generally good, you will find the good within them. If you think people are out to get you, that will be what you see in the world. It is crucial that you consciously and actively reinforce the beliefs that will support you in confidently pursuing everything you want for your life. What beliefs do you need to reinforce on a daily basis to remind you that you’re just as worthy, deserving, and capable of creating the life you want, as any other person?
Why is it essential that NOW is the time for you to start transforming your life? *
It’s important for you to convince me and yourself as to WHY you’re ready to commit to doing whatever it takes to create what you really want for your life, at a level you’ve never been committed to before. Why are YOU no longer willing to settle for less than you truly want and are capable of? Why is NOW your time?
